Eleocharis parvula is one of the easiest carpet plants available. It spreads by runners into a natural 'lawn' foreground under medium to high light. Plant small bunches close together for faster fill-in and trim regularly to encourage dense, low growth. CO2 is beneficial but not essential.

What's Included
Each plant ships in a sealed 120 mL sterile culture vessel (60 mm base). Laboratory-grown in vitro under controlled conditions — pest-free, algae-free, and ready to plant.
How to Prepare
Tissue culture plants arrive in a nutrient gel or liquid medium. Rinse this off completely before planting — leftover media can fuel algae growth in your tank.
- Remove the plant from the cup and gently pull apart into small portions.
- Rinse thoroughly under cool running tap water to wash away all gel or liquid media.
- For stubborn gel, soak the portions in a bowl of clean water for a few minutes, then rinse again.
- Plant the portions directly into your substrate — space them out to encourage even spread and growth.
